Aplastic anaemia presenting as retinal Roth spots: photo essay

Roth spots white centred retinal haemorrhage and are associated with multiple systemic illnesses like bacterial endocarditis, leukaemia and myeloma. Roth spots are rarely seen in Aplastic anaemia and till now only one case report has shown this association1,2. This photo essay is presented to stress upon including aplastic anaemia in the differential diagnosis of Roth spots as early diagnosis and treatment can be life saving.
