Safety factors (specific activities per m2 leaf area measured at 25 °C divided by corresponding mean vo at 25 °C) of downstream photorespiratory enzymes (PGP, GO, CAT, GGAT, AGAT, SGAT, HPR, and GK) were calculated in B. papyrifera. Colors represent temperature treatments, with ambient temperature in yellow, ambient temperature + 4 °C in orange, and ambient temperature + 8 °C in red. No hatching pattern denotes ambient CO2 concentration, while hatching pattern represents elevated CO2. Shown are the boxplots as well as the points indicating the biological replicates (n = 6). Significant difference between treatment types is indicated by letters as determined by Two-way ANOVA and Tukey–Kramer ad hoc test with p < 0.05.
