About the Partner

npj Primary Care Respiratory Medicine is published by Springer Nature in partnership with the International Primary Care Respiratory Group (IPCRG). It is the official journal of IPCRG and its members, including PCRS-UK, the journal founder.

IPCRG is a clinically-led charitable company, non-governmental organisation, that works locally in primary care and collaborates globally to improve respiratory health. Its vision is that, through universal access to the right care, everyone can breathe and feel well.

It is an alliance of 39 national members - primary care respiratory organisations - reaching over 160,000 family physicians, pharmacists, nurses and other professionals delivering primary care around the world. It is also a community of practice, collaborating globally on real life respiratory research, implementation science and innovation, and exchanging knowledge about best practice and impact.

IPCRG advises the World Health Organization (WHO) as the primary care representative on the WHO-convened network GARD Steering Committee, and WONCA, the global family doctor association.  It is the Respiratory Special Interest Group of WONCA Europe.  Organisations representing global pharmacists and respiratory nurses, FIP and ICRN are Associate Members.
