Extended Data Fig. 3

Potential interactions between stromal cells and AV cells in normal mammary tissues of (a) young mice (3-4 months; n = 3 WT and 3 HET mice) and (b) aged mice (13-14 months; n = 4 WT and 4 HET mice), as well as (c) interactions between stromal cells and tumor epithelial cells in mammary tumors from WT GEMMs (n = 3 tumors) and Brca1-HET GEMMs (n = 3 tumors) based on CellPhoneDB analyses of ligand-receptor pairs in scRNA-seq data. To investigate as many stromal populations as possible, any stromal cell types with at least 5 cells per sample within a given cohort condition were analyzed. Of note, a fourth HET tumor sample, tuHETc, was excluded in the CellPhoneDB analysis due to low cell yield in order to allow more stromal cell types to pass the filtering criteria of at least 5 cells per sample and be included in this analysis.
