Differential subcellular distribution of SYK in cervical cancer cells. (A, B) SiHa [SYK(L) positive], CaSki [SYK(S) positive] and knockdown SYK(L) or SYK(S) were subjected to subcellular fractionation. The cytoplasmic (C) and nuclear (N) fractions were then processed together with whole cell lysate (W) for immunoblotting. PARP and α-Tubulin were used as nuclear and cytoplasmic markers, respectively. (C) Localization of SYK in different cervical tissues by immunofluorescence. SYK expressed in SiHa and CaSki cell lines were immunostained with anti-SYK antibody that does not recognize both SYK(L) and SYK(S) (green), cell nuclei were stained with DAPI (blue).
